Description:The Security System detected an authentication error for the server ldap/DCserver.domain.com/domain.com@domain.com. The failure code from authentication protocol Kerberos was “The user account’s password has expired. (0xc0000071)”.

The Event 40960 shold provide an error code that can be translated into the cause of the problem. in this case it was cased by the component account was expired

  • How about the following error?

    Address Book Request web service could not be started.

    Exception information : COM error code 800407D0 returned – ‘SELECT * FROM MSFT_SIPAddressBookSetting WHERE Backend = “DATABASE”‘. Check inner exception for details..
    Cause: Startup errors.
    Resolution:
    Check the events prior to this to resolve the service startup issue.
