Update Rollup 8 for Exchange Server 2007 Service Pack 1 (SP1) resolves issues that were found in Exchange Server 2007 SP1 since the software was released. This update rollup is highly recommended for all Exchange Server 2007 SP1 customers

Microsoft has released the Communicator 2007 R2 hotfix rollup package: May 2009

This cumulative update fixes the following issue:

Microsoft Unified Communications Voice Specialization Exam 088-924 has changed exam number to 074-924.

From the text description of the Exam, the content should have been updated to include OCS 2007 R2, however my sources says that the content is the same as the old exam (Only OCS 2007)

Exam 074-924: Microsoft Office Communications Server 2007 –Unified Communications Voice Specialization is designed to validate your skills and experience to design, deploy, and administer Microsoft Voice solutions in production, including the interoperability of Microsoft Office Communications Server 2007, Microsoft Office Communications Server 2007 Release 2, Microsoft Exchange Server 2007 – Unified Messaging, Microsoft Windows Server Active Directory, gateways, and private branch exchanges (PBXs).
This exam is available in English only. A voucher is required to take the exam

Audience Profile
This test is for IT, Telecommunications, and Networking professionals who have experience using Office Communications Server 2007 or Office Communications Server 2007 Release 2. You should also have experience using and configuring Windows Server Active Directory and network infrastructure components that support the deployment and ongoing management of Office Communications Server 2007 versions.

Microsoft has release a line of updates for its Office Communications Server 2007 R2 server roles. The updates are called “April 2009″ but is just relased to Microsoft Update today.

There are a lot of bug fixes that can save you during deployment, and it is recomended to update all your OCS 2007 R2 servers asap.

The recomended way of updating is to use Microsoft Update

Well, I am always up for a good guess (and always based on rumors) but I am most certain that we will see it RTM some time this fall. October is a good guess.
