When you are finish installing the new Lync Server 2013 and Exchange Server 2013 which are in public betas now, then you will need the new Lync and Outlook client.
So head to the new Office.com page and request the public preview of Office 2013. http://www.microsoft.com/office/preview/en
Microsoft has released the next Lync Server version called “Lync Server 2013″ in a public preview beta.
So try it in a test lab (not for production yet).

The next version of Exchange Server codename “Exchange 15″ has now been named Exchange Server 2013.
